We’ve just completed fabricating and installing a SeaDek EVA foam deck for Phoenix, and we want to show it off! Phoenix is a TP52 designed by Botin Partners and launched in Valencia prior to the 2015 52 Super Series. Its new decking solution, with an inlay of the yacht’s captive phoenix logo, is a super lightweight (3mm) application that promises sure footing during the demanding sailing that’s required of its crew. Plus it means that high-tech sheets, foul weather gear, etc. won’t get “roughed up” like they do with other non-skid applications that are typically abrasive.
